Electrical Appliances
Please do not bring large electrical appliances such as microwaves or air fryers — our insurance doesn't permit their use. If you need anything heated during your stay, just ask and we're happy to help.

Check-in
Check-in is from 3pm. Early check-in is available for a fee — please see Extras when booking.

Check-out
Check-out is by 10:30am. Late check-out is available for a fee — please see Extras when booking.

Deposit
A 50% deposit is payable at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due on arrival.

Cancellation
For guests booking direct with us, deposits are refundable up to 24 hours before your check-in date. Cancellations made within 24 hours of check-in will forfeit the deposit.
If you booked via a third-party site (such as Booking.com), your booking is subject to that platform's cancellation terms rather than ours.
We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance.

Hot Tub & Sauna
Our hot tubs and sauna are for guest use only, in line with the safety guidance provided at check-in. Please supervise use closely, avoid glass near the tubs, and observe recommended time limits. A short safety waiver is required before first use

Pets
We do not allow guests' pets. Please note we have resident dogs who live on site.

Children
We are strictly an adults-only retreat (18+).

Smoking
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside any of our rooms or buildings.

Noise
We ask guests to be mindful of noise after 10pm out of respect for other guests.

Damage
Card details are held securely as part of our registration form and may be charged for any damage, excessive mess, or missing items identified after checkout.

Privacy policy

Privacy StatementFreetobook is booking software used by accommodation providers to enable their customers to make online bookings and manage those bookings. This document applies to the processing by freetobook of personal data collected by properties using freetobook online booking system in relation to the provision of accommodation by those properties.

Your Personal DataProperties using freetobook as their booking engine, collect and store information that you give when you make a booking. You are asked for your name, address, telephone number and email along with payment information and “the names of any guests travelling with you”. This may also include your IP address. This information is stored in the freetobook System in order to process your booking. You may be contacted by the Property you have booked with in relation to your booking. Your data is also stored after you have stayed but will be kept no longer than necessary in order to comply with legal obligations and for properties to welcome your repeat business.
Data processed directly by third partiesIf you provide payment information, this will be processed directly by secure PCI Level 1 compliant payment gateway providers.
Joint ControllersIn the context of providing booking software to accommodation providers to facilitate online booking, freetobook and the accommodation provider shall together operate as joint data controllers for the processing of your personal data.
Security ProceduresIn accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), freetobook observes reasonable procedures to prevent unauthorised access and misuse of personal information. We use appropriate business systems and procedures to protect and safeguard any personal information given to us. We also use security procedures and technical and physical restrictions for accessing and using the personal information on our servers. Only authorised personnel are permitted to access personal information in the course of their work.
Control of your Personal DataYou have the right to access data that is stored on behalf of properties taking bookings via freetobook system. You need to email or write to the property you booked with to request an overview of your personal data. You can also contact the property you booked with on freetobook System if you believe that the personal information they have for you is incorrect, if you believe that they are no longer entitled to use your personal data or if you have any other questions about how your personal information is used or about the Privacy Statement. You need to email or write to the property you booked with.
ReviewsYou may also be asked to send feedback after your stay in order for the property to further improve their service. Your email address will be used for this purpose. If you complete a review it may be posted on the property website, facebook page, twitter or google plus. However, no identifying details will ever be attached to a review posting. To Process your information as described above, we rely on the following legal bases: Performance of a contract. The storage of your information may be necessary to perform the contract that you have with the accommodation provider you are booking with. Legitimate Interests.We may use your information for our legitimate interests, such as for administrative, fraud detection and legal purposes.

CookiesA cookie is a small amount of data that is placed in the browser of your computer or on your mobile device. These cookies are used only to help you make a smooth booking and contain information like the date searched and language of booking. There is a difference between session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies will only exist until you close your browser. Persistent cookies have a longer lifespan and are not automatically deleted once you close your browser. We use persistent cookies in Google Analytics to analyse visitor traffic and behaviour.By using freetobook website or proceeding with a booking you are consenting to the above use of cookies.

Risk Assessment Approach & Purpose

This document is individual to us and has been developed with Bridleway B& B business and our operations in mind. It takes into consideration both our customer journey and our duties.

This document forms part of our Health & Safety management system and is referenced within our business’ Health and Safety policy.

By tracing the routes and tasks that people will typically take, either to carry out their jobs or as customers, we have set out a list of risks and concerns on the transmission of COVID-19; and subsequently how to take action to reduce these risks.

By setting concerns and control measures out in a logical way this will give confidence to show that that due consideration and diligence has been undertaken.

Customers will be advised in advance of their visit of actions taken, because of the COVID-19 Risk Assessment, to give confidence that Bridleway B&B has considered everyone’s safety.

The controls set out in this document will be specific for Bridleway B&B and our operation, considering how the business operates, and how customers use the premises and interact.

We will review this document regularly to ensure we have considered any changes in national guidance.

HAZARD

Coronavirus is a respiratory virus that can invade a host via the respiratory route or via hand to eye/mouth/nose contact, causing the disease COVID-19.

People who appear healthy may be carrying and shedding the virus, which can be passed on either directly or indirectly to others. This means we need to assume that anyone could be carrying the virus.

The main routes of transmission (the risks)

Direct contact to face – eyes, nose from droplets or aerosols spraying from an infected person onto another person who is in close contact.
Contamination via droplets from sneezing and coughing landing on surfaces and then transferring via hands on to eyes and nose and mouth. Other means of secretions getting on to surfaces could be from infected people touching their eyes, nose and mouth and then touching surfaces with contaminated hands.
Contaminated hands of infected people can transfer the virus directly to others (e.g. handshakes) or on to hand contact surfaces which can be picked up by other people’s hands and transferred to their eyes, nose or mouth.

Disinfecting hand contact surfaces
Hand washing and hand sanitiser use at key moments
Not touching eyes, mouth or nose with contaminated fingers
